The founders had a vision of creating a space that was more than just a place to pitch a tent. They wanted to create a place where individuals and families could come together and enjoy the great outdoors in a safe and serene environment. 

JCC promotes the development of a Good Mind  through Nature contributing to personal and community healing.

"A little paradise in the woods". 

Situated on the naturalistic banks of the Grand River near the Town of Caledonia, the JCC (GrandRiver) EMPORIUM is located on the Six Nations Territory (Reserve No. 40) and is a family-oriented, off-the-grid (green energy) tent campground. 

At JCC (GrandRiver) EMPORIUM, we believe that camping should be memorable and convenient. We offer amenities for our guests, including:  - FREE WIFI in designated area, an outdoor shower,

clean porta potty,  an outdoor kitchen area (weekend hours only in 2026) and pavilion.

The camp retails jugs of potable water. The retail store will open officially in 2027.
